The Belmont Club has an interesting analysis of the relationship between the size of a group and its effectiveness. It makes a good case for the Bush Doctrine by showing that eliminating regimes that harbor terrorists, like the Taliban, makes it impossible to maintain the discipline required to form larger, more effective groups. Next up at the Belmont Club is an analysis of how Israel has defeated the Intifada, and how it provides yet another endorsement of the Bush Doctrine.
