Remember the fevered cries from the Moonbat-based community after Bush was elected by a bunch of Jesus-landers who don't want gay marriages recognized? Remeber how he was beholden to them to get the Federal Marriage Amendment Act passed? As anyone with half a brain and/or a grain of intellectual integrity could have predicted based on his comments on the topic, Bush has no intentions of pursuing it. So lighten up, Francis. Not only that; Bush has also stopped looking for WMDs in Iraq. Now it's official. As you elegantly put it; 'As anyone with half a brain and/or a grain of intellectual integrity could have predicted'. And... So much for the incontrovertible “intelligence,” that served as the pretext for a war that has already killed 100,000 Iraqis and nearly 1,400 Americans, and is costing billions of dollars every month. Those looking for the truth - or justice, look elsewhere. Posted by: tom Bush hardly has time to worry about goofy BS like gay marriage when there is the serious problem of terrorists and their moonbat enablers to deal with. Tom: The fact that they stopped looking for the WMDs doesn't mean they weren't there. It means Saddam was successful at disposing of them before the invasion. Everyone knows he had WMD. Don't you remember the Kurds and Iranians he gassed? Posted by: Van Helsing Sorry, but I dont believe the crap that Saddam had any WMD left after the 1. Golf War clean-up, - as pointed out by numerous inspectors and ex. CIA personell before the attack etc. etc. Posted by: tom Odd that everyone didn't just take your opinion for fact when deciding what level of threat Saddam posed. Oh, sure, every intelligence agency in the world said he had them, he said he had them, and so on, ad nauseum. If only they had consulted you, none of this would have happened! Posted by: infidel cowboy - When litterally millions demonstrated against the US/British attack on Iraq in all the major cities around the world,- with the exception of US were such demonstrations are not allowed, I wonder who you call 'everyone'. - It was, and is, beond doubt that Saddam's regime did not pose a WMD-threat. Not even to his closest neighbours. Impossibly so to USA, as it was claimed. Claiming that is just laughable. Saddam was hard-fisted - with massive US help, in 'diciplining' a country torn between ethnic and religous devides. Many observers say that there will not be an Iraq without the strong will of the quasi-socialistic, - totally corrupt, anti religous and relatively ethnic unbiased Baath party. The Iraqi nation will just fall apart. Which is what we see in front of our eyes now. So, they lied to'ye. How do you feel? Had president Bush stuck to international law 'this would never have had to happen'. Some 1400 American lives and slightly less than a 100.000 Iraqi lives would have been saved. The US trade deficit smaller and the dollar stronger. No little thing Posted by: tom ..and.. It's a fine guy Bush has appointed 'ambassador' to Iraq:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Negroponte Can you expect anything but 'terrorists' (freedom fighters, if you ask me) and insurgents fighting you in Iraq with that kind of people representing USA....? Posted by: tom You, sir, are an oxygen thief. Protests not allowed in the US? Head chopping terrorists as freedom fighters after Zarqawi just said anyone who votes is an infidel and that Democracy is evil? Confusing what is known now with pre-war intelligence and opinion, including that of Vladimir Putin, that left wing new outlet called the BBC, the stated capabilities of the mad man himself? Equating that pre-war intelligence with the "knowledge" level of left wing moonbats who have grown soft sucking at the teat of American generosity whilst living under its military umbrella? You know what, go fuck yourself. Posted by: infidel cowboy |
