Lost for Words

I was spending my time in the doldrums
I was caught in the cauldron of hate
I felt persecuted and paralyzed
I thought that everything else would just wait
While you are wasting your time on your enemies
Engulfed in a fever of spite
Beyond your tunnel vision reality fades
Like shadows into the night

To martyr yourself to caution
Is not going to help at all
Because there'll be no safety in numbers
When the Right One walks out of the door

Can you see your eyes blighted by darkness?
Is it true you beat your fists on the floor?
Stuck in a world of isolation
While ivy grows over the door

So I open my door to my enemies
And I ask could we wipe the slate clean
But they tell me to please go fuck myself
You know you just can't win

Nuclear Armed Apocalyptic Madman
That is exactly what we are looking at if Iran is allowed to develop nuclear weapons. Sleep well knowing that some MoveOn type lunatics are more concerned that President Bush pronounces nuclear "nook-you-ler" than they are about this nightmarish scenario playing before us.
The prospect of such a man obtaining nuclear weapons is worrying. The unspoken question is this: is Mr Ahmadinejad now tempting a clash with the West because he feels safe in the belief of the imminent return of the Hidden Imam? Worse, might he be trying to provoke chaos in the hope of hastening his reappearance?
Anybody think that the Nobel Prize awarded to the UN watchdog agency head responsible for enforcement of the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty was maybe a little offbase, considering they have done nothing to stop this?

Irony Involving Rachel Corrie's Parents?

No, they weren't stupid enough to plant themselves in front of an Israeli bulldozer that was about to destroy a house hiding a tunnel used for arms smuggling. That wouldn't be irony, it would be more futile, ignorant, amoral, senseless idiocy. No, they were nearly kidnapped by Palestinian freedom fighters murderous thugs. Wonder why we aren't hearing more about this?

In a separate incident on Wednesday which further underscored the growing lawlessness in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian gunmen burst into a house in and tried to kidnap the parents of Rachel Corrie, who was killed by an IDF bulldozer in 2003 as she protested the impending demolition of a house in the southern Gaza town, according to their host.

The five gunmen, who also appeared to be affiliated to the ruling Fatah movement, eventually relented after being told who their targets were, according to Samir Nasrallah, in whose house the couple was staying.

Corrie was crushed to death by an IDF bulldozer in 2003 as she tried to stop it from demolishing Nasrallah's house. Her parents, Craig and Cindy, have repeatedly visited Nasrallah since. They left Gaza safely after the incident, Nasrallah said.
