John Howard says STFU to that. PRIME MIN. HOWARD: Could I start by saying the prime minister and I were having a discussion when we heard about it. My first reaction was to get some more information. And I really don't want to add to what the prime minister has said. It's a matter for the police and a matter for the British authorities to talk in detail about what has happened here. Wilson, Rove, Berger, Moonbats, the Lamestream Media, Bin Laden, Hussein and Bush
Funny how far some moonbats will go to find links between Bush and Bin Laden while completely ignoring any evidence of links between ex-Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden. Funny how these cluefucks will with a straight face, in clear contradiction of the facts, tell you that there is no connection between the war on terror and the war in Iraq. Funny that the media plays along with this latest partisan hatchet attempt on Rove in support of the discredited Joe Wilson, in a complete 180 degree turn from what they were reporting 6 years ago - information that clearly discredits Wilson and pretty much anyone else who says there were no links between Bin Laden and Hussein (h/t to Roger L. Simon). Funny how even as they admit that Rove has committed no crime, they want his head, but can't be bothered about the humongous breach of national security committed by Sandy Bergler. Funny. So funny that I can't stop crying. By infidel cowboy · 07.15.05 12:57PM · Link · Comments (0) ·
Whistleblower Award Time
Democrats and most of the Beltway press corps are baying for Karl Rove's head over his role in exposing a case of CIA nepotism involving Joe Wilson and his wife, Valerie Plame. On the contrary, we'd say the White House political guru deserves a prize--perhaps the next iteration of the "Truth-Telling" award that The Nation magazine bestowed upon Mr. Wilson before the Senate Intelligence Committee exposed him as a fraud. RTWT. Update: Tom McGuire helpfully volunteers to answer some of Joshua Micah Marshall questions. Update: After spending the week trying to feed the Wilson-gate frenzy (again), the NY Times publishes an op-ed saying there is no scandal (again). Read it and weep, frustrated moonbats. Hitchens: We Cannot Surrender
While some fall back on their ever faithful platforms self loathing and blame America firstism, an intellectually honest progressive gets to the heart of the matter as he dissects the Islamofascists grievances: The grievance of seeing unveiled women. The grievance of the existence, not of the State of Israel, but of the Jewish people. The grievance of the heresy of democracy, which impedes the imposition of sharia law. The grievance of a work of fiction written by an Indian living in London. The grievance of the existence of black African Muslim farmers, who won't abandon lands in Darfur. The grievance of the existence of homosexuals. The grievance of music, and of most representational art. The grievance of the existence of Hinduism. The grievance of East Timor's liberation from Indonesian rule. All of these have been proclaimed as a licence to kill infidels or apostates, or anyone who just gets in the way. RTWT.
